Visited on 7/7/2017 – Picture taken on a weekend
camping trip in our Truck Camper with Jeff and our dogs, Summer and Skye up to
the Truckee area of Northern California.
Jeff quickly took this picture as we were traveling by on Interstate 80 at 65 mph, so sorry about the electrical power line running thru the middle of the picture. Lake Putt is a small natural lake located near Blue Canyon along
Interstate 30 miles west of Truckee, California in the Tahoe National Forest at
elevation 5,361 feet above sea level. This lake always seems to completely ice over in the winter time and is even more beautiful of a site in the dead of winter. It is a great fishing lake and my friends refer to this lake as Nyack Lake, probably because the very next exit on Interstate 80 is Nyack!
Sorry about this map folks, this is all I could find to give you an idea of the location for this one. It is so small of a lake it wasn't on my list to visit, but we will just call it a bonus lake!
