Saturday drive with Jeff and our dogs, Summer and Skye. View from east side of Lake in the late
afternoon, right before sunset. Rollins
Lake was formed by the construction of an earthen dam of the Bear River. At an elevation of 2,100 feet above sea level in the
Gold Country, 5 miles west of Colfax near Grass Valley, California. The
lake has a surface area of 900 acres, with 26 miles of shoreline.
