Topaz Lake - Mono County, California

Visited on 1/31/2017 – Cold winter day with partial ice on the Lake.  Picture taken from a pullout off of Hwy 395 after proctoring the Wastewater Exam at Owens Valley Conservation Camp near Bishop, CA.  This natural lake is raised by diversions and levees.  This beautiful and scenic 2,410 acre lake borders both the State of Nevada and California at an elevation of 5,005 feet above sea level.
